I have been purchasing various products the past few years that contained tea tree oil. When I saw Apothecary Extracts Tea Tree Oil, I figured why not go straight to the source? At 4 ounces, it’s a huge bottle! I expect it to last me a year, what a bargain for $25! They even provide a PDF with numerous recipes after purchase.
I’m not going to lie and tell you that I don’t love the convenience of just running into a store and purchasing a bottle of shampoo, but I’ve also become concerned about the different chemicals in the products I’m using. I’m slightly amazed at how easy some of these recipes are and I have a good chunk of the other ingredients at home already.
The first recipe I tried was for detangling. After having colored my hair in August, I find that my hair is a bit drier aka damaged, more so than normal. It’s led to tangles galore and I feel like a 5 year-old as I comb the tangles out. I looked through the PDF and hello light bulb moment! There’s a recipe for a detangling tea tree oil conditioner and I can guarantee you that you’ll have everything in your pantry at home already. I use this regularly and my hair is starting to feel healthier after a few days. I can’t wait to try the other recipes for moisturizing my hair.
Seriously, I’m super excited to try the different recipes for tea tree oil that the company provides. I can already see how useful it will be as winter starts to set in and the air gets sucked of all moisture. Do you want to get a bottle for yourself?
